I'm Not Afraid To Eat Alone

"I know what I bring to the table, so trust me when I say I'm not afraid to eat alone." I love that quote. When I saw it on Pinterest, I just knew that was what my next blog post would be about. Why not? It's Valentines day. I am writing this for all the girls who have never been in a relationship, It's hard and this holiday makes it 20 times worse. I used to get upset seeing everyone in relationships and always wondered why nobody loved me and what was wrong with me... There was nothing wrong with me. My problem was I knew I didn't want to settle for less than what I wanted. I don't mean that in a bad way I just mean sometimes it's ok to eat alone, there is nothing wrong with being independent. I have so many friends who always have to be in relationships even if they don't like the guy and I just feel bad for them. Let me make this very clear, "YOU HAVE TO LOVE YOURSELF BEFORE YOU CAN LOVE ANYONE ELSE." Don't be that girl who always has to be in a relationship for all the wrong reasons. I know it sucks, believe me I have had my "off days" but I like who I am alone and it has taken me so long to get there but I promise you'll see your life in a whole other way. The same goes for guys don't just date someone just because they make you look good. Do they make you feel good? That is the question you should be asking yourself.

I used to look at social media and think "wow I want what they have" but then found out later that they were both cheating on each other and weren't ever really happy. That's what social media does, it makes our lives look better than they are. Some use social media to inspire and some use it to straight up brag in our faces. I use social media because I love to post pictures and be creative but there are times it will bring me down. I'm human, it happens. You can't let social media make you think you are less than you are though. If you need to put your phone/ computer down for an hour and do something that makes you happy then do it. Quit checking, that girl he picked over you may have something you don't but guess what? You have something she doesn't have and one day someone way better will come along and see that. I know its hard, just be patient...
